Beans are my favorite. They are so vlrtasiee. I buy dry beans, cook them up, and store them in 1/2 cup increments in my freezer. The static is very loud, even when separated by only one wall. Especially bad when plugged in. The battery life is also poor. We keep it plugged in, and it still ran through two sets of batteries in three weeks of normal nightly use. We have been frustrated with the monitors for a month and we are now buying a different brand.
