Oh Heather, you have me in tears! I don't think I've posted beofre but I've followed your story since shortly after precious Maddie passed. This post just touched me like no other. I am nearly finished with medical school at the moment to be a nurse and it is stories like this that make me certain I chose the right field. I am so happy that you had someone there for you that you felt comfortable with, during the hardest time in your life. While of course I would never wish loss upon ANYONE, I hope that I am able to comfort someone someday in almost the same manner.
