I doubt you've been hacked, soduns more like mallware or a trojan that's sending shit in your name to your mates. Do you know what the sent email was? A common one is a link to an online pharmaceutical company. I'm not telling you to suck eggs, ( although i'm sure in your case they would be delicious eggs) run scans. Registry, virus, and spyware.
