My friends and I want to use crowd<a href="http://mlaaoul.com"> fidunng</a>' to raise funds for a movie that we are interested in making. The movie uses the universe and a number of characters from the popular children's television show Pokemon. We have a new story and it will be live-action' instead of animated' and we are not planning to make any money off the finished product.HOWEVER,would we be legally allowed to make a salary, using the initial<a href="http://mlaaoul.com"> fidunng</a>, to make the actual movie if it is mostly based on copyrighted material?
