I've heard that you should spend the elvqeiuant of at least two months pay. Really, I don't believe there's a rule.One thing I would say though. Whatever you decide to spend, don't put it on a credit card. Save the money. If you really want it, you'll find a way to save the cash. It make take longer then just whipping out that credit card, but you'll be happier for you!However, you want to use your credit card for the buyers protection, again, save the money first, then put it on the card, then pay that card off that same month.
