I am a baby boomer and you are pltray right. We set the trend for a lot of things. Tennis shoes, pampers, baby food, blue jeans just to name a few. I don't think anyone would want to do with out them. We have been hard workers to provide for our families and most of us still are. We have handed our children everything. I think that is where we went wrong. We gave our children everything except for the gift of poverty. But if you think for one minute congress and obama are not to blame that is just false. We worked on a budget and didn't spend money we don't have. I can not say the same thing about them. We are getting ready to retire and yet it is not good enough. I have a gut feeling you are generation x that is used to having everything handed to them. It is time for the next generation to go to work and earn what they get so the next generations money is not spent.
